When you have lots of clips to work with it is often useful to work in a visual environment, so I choose icon view in premiere cs5.5. Unfortunately premiere arranges clips in it’s own mysterious way and there is no solution to sort by name/date/length etc… the option exist in list view but apparently icon view is independent (how lame of premiere). After a little search on google I found out that I’m not the only one with this problem. The only workaround at the moment is to switch your bin in icon view and drag all your clips in from the viewer, they should be arranged by name. I don’t know why my footage from C300 is arranged in reverse order, but at least they are in order now. Adobe should really implement this change in the next update.
